As the autumn equinox settles in, I’ve found myself savoring what’s left of the summer season. Even though the weather is beginning to shift and the holidays are headed this way full throttle, I’ve made it a point to embrace these lingering warm days. Just last week (before fall officially graced me with her presence) I reminded myself, “It’s still summer,” as I took a refreshing dip in the pool. The cooler air reminds me that opportunities for fun in the sun are fleeting, but I’m determined to make the most of every moment before it’s too cold to swim at all.
Looking ahead to October, my heart is set on crafting with friends. Last year, I hosted a pumpkin carving event for our kiddos, but this year, I’m focusing on creating a space for just us girls. A “pumpkin and petals” get-together feels like the perfect way to connect, create, and celebrate this beautiful transition into autumn.
What do you love about this season?
