I read this quote today and it was in perfect alignment with the drafting of my baby bucket list (aka. bliss list)
“The problem is, you think you have time. On average we get 80 summers… if we’re lucky. Don’t put off the trip. Stop waiting for life to begin. Stay up late with friends. Get up early to watch the sunrise. Catch every sunset. Book the trip. Go on that hike. Go to the beach. Spend time with those you love. Tell them how you feel.” — Delfina Alden
On a similar note, I was thinking this week about the importance, not only of living fully, but loving fully. If you feel it, say it. Show it. It’s not something to hold onto or hoard. It’s not something that flourishes in darkness or solitude. It’s meant to be shared and celebrated as often as possible because our time here is so incredibly limited and often painful. And guess what? Love is the remedy.
So I leave you with this. Live now, for it’s all we have. Love deeply, for it is the essence of our being.
